You will own the retrieval and search layer - the part of the system that decides what information gets pulled in before an AI generates an answer. You own product outcomes end-to-end, from strategy through launch and continuous improvement, with a general management mindset that balances customer value, commercial impact, and technical feasibility. You sit in Bangalore, working directly alongside an India-based engineering team and reporting into a global product organisation. "Senior" here means you operate in ambiguity and drive technical decisions rather than facilitate them - you can separate the retrieval mechanism from the interface on top of it, and you have the judgement to trade off precision, recall, coverage, and latency deliberately.
