This Position reports to: Senior Engineering Manager Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will have the prospect to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments. The work model for the role is: LI_Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for: Work on end-to-end DCS projects comprising of scope of Automation systems for Metals/Pulp & Paper/Mining/Cement sectors. Support project engineers/leads in execution of projects by following the engineering & commissioning workflow as per QMS defined. Work on Preparation/approval of basic engineering drawings like SLD, GA, IGA, fabrication drawings etc., Work closely with cross function/ LBU teams to achieve customer acceptance. Work on application control software, necessary graphics & get the Factory acceptance test conducted successfully for own area of responsibility. Get the Engineering Quality Index audits are carried out for his/her area of work. Work on HMI migration projects. Be part of commissioning team- Installation supervision of automation panels, I/O checks, individual equipment trials, cold trials, Hot integrated trials, baby sitting during ra
