NAbout the Role
nWeare seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager – Power Trading to drive growth in our power trading business. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electricity markets, energy regulations, and commercial negotiations, with the ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships across the power sector.
NKey Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in power trading, renewable energy trading, and energy procurement. N
- Build and maintain relationships with power generators, DISCOMs, industrial consumers, open-access consumers, and other market participants. N
- Source and execute short-term, medium-term, and long-term power trading opportunities. N
- Analyze electricity market trends, demand-supply scenarios, pricing mechanisms,



and regulatory developments. N
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). N
- Coordinate with trading, scheduling, operations, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless transaction execution. N
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and bids for prospective clients. N
- Monitor opportunities in power exchanges and identify profitable trading strategies. N
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and company policies. N
- Achieve assigned revenue, volume, and profitability targets. N

nRequired Qualifications

- Bachelor's degreein Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline. N
- MBA (Marketing, Finance, Energy Management) preferred. N
- 3–8 years of experiencein power trading, energy sales, business development, electricity markets, or related sectors. N
