•Develop and implement data governance frameworks, standards, and procedures to ensure data privacy, security, quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
•Implement the Data Governance and Data Protection business plans within the organization and control of data risks.
•Ensure adoption and compliance with data policies on data classification, security, privacy, and other regulatory requirements for data protection regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA) and establish practices to safeguard data privacy and security.
•Monitor and assess risks related to data security and compliance, proactively addressing potential vulnerabilities.
•Manage access controls and data permissions, ensuring sensitive information is protected and accessible only to authorized personnel.
•Manage data lifecycle processes, including data acquisition, retention, archiving, and deletion practices.
