Role Description The Vendor Management Coordinator is a part time, remote role responsible for supporting the effective selection, onboarding, and management of external vendors. The coordinator oversees day-to-day vendor interactions, maintains up-to-date records, and monitors vendor performance against agreed service levels. This role includes preparing and reviewing contracts, coordinating procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and budgets. The coordinator collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, gather feedback on vendor services, and support issue resolution. The position also involves preparing reports, analyzing vendor data, and recommending improvements to vendor management processes.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to evaluate vendor performance, costs, and contract terms, and to support data-driven decision-making.
Experience in procurement and vendor selection processes,



including managing requests for proposals and assessing vendor capabilities.
Proficiency in contract management and contract negotiation, with the ability to review, track, and support the administration of vendor agreements.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams, manage expectations, and support conflict resolution.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records, documentation, and timelines.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with basic financial or budgeting concepts related to vendor costs and service agreements is beneficial.
Previous experience in vendor management, procurement, or contract administration and a relevant education (e.g., business, management, or related field) are preferred.
