Serves as lead analyst and key liaison, working closely with colleagues and customers to ensure in-house or deployed systems and devices are kept current and functional. Develops strategies for application deployment, manages application installations and configuration and assists other engineering teams with system architectures, design, development and integration. Assures all applications are well behaved and all platforms, OS s (Windows, AIX, UNIX, LINUX, etc) and networks are properly configured to support the production, test and development environments effectively and efficiently. Additionally, ensures all application migrations, upgrades and installations are well rehearsed and documented prior to conducting official installations. This effort requires close coordination with other engineering groups. This position works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:




- In-depth technical triage skillset to ensure of all back-office issues are remedied as quickly as possible.
- Teams with IT Management to ensure priorities are transparent and work distribution amongst the resourcing pool.
- Ensure all monitoring and managing controls are deployed and updated as system configuration changes take place.
- Liaisons with IT Architecture/Management to ensure systems are architected to performance and availability.
- Proven ability to properly defined and document systems design, policies and procedures including all system level interdependencies.
- Champion deployment of software automation pipelines partnering closing with DevOps to ensure 100% automated, rapid best-in-breed software deployments.
- Partnering with Information Security, IT Architecture and DevOps to ensure compliance standards are maintained and built into automation scripts.
