Role Overview Design and develop wideband RF front-end hardware for signal interception and tactical repeater systems. Responsible for RF receiver chain sensitivity, linearity and RF transmitter chain power levels. Perform ADS-based simulations, hardware integration with SDR, and lab validation to ensure real-time performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities • Design RF TX/RX chains (LNA, PA, mixer, filter, LO/PLL, ADC interface, protection networks) • Front-end architecture and antenna selection for multi-band interception & directional performance • Ensure low-spurious, low phase noise design for high energetic range signal monitoring • RF link budget: TX power optimization, RX sensitivity calculation • Simulate in Keysight ADS (S-param, HB, Envelope, EM co-sim) • Optimize NF, IIP3, P1dB, PAE, phase noise, ACLR,
EVM • Validate with VNA, spectrum analyzer, noise figure meter • Ensure RF layout (impedance, shielding, grounding) • Debug prototypes and support EMC/EMI
Qualifications • Transmitter & receiver design/analysis • Optimized Tx power estimation • Rx sensitivity calculation • Keysight ADS (schematic, simulation, layout) • RF fundamentals: S-parameters, noise (NF, phase/flicker), link budget • Tools: MATLAB, VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator • Excellent problem-solving skills and Mission-driven teamwork Work Experience •
