Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Lawyer role based in Velachery. The Junior Lawyer will assist in researching legal issues, drafting documents, and preparing case files under the guidance of senior lawyers. Daily tasks include reviewing contracts and other legal documents, organizing case materials, and summarizing statutes, regulations, and case law. The role also involves attending client meetings, taking detailed notes, and helping prepare responses, opinions, and reports.



The Junior Lawyer will collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely follow-up on matters, maintain accurate records, and support the firm’s overall case management and advisory work.
Qualifications
Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret statutes, case law, and regulations.
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, notices, and opinions.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with clear, concise, and professional client-facing correspondence.
Good organizational and time-management abilities, including maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and managing multiple matters.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, citations, and procedural compliance.
Ability to work collaboratively with senior lawyers and staff, while taking responsibility for assigned tasks.
