Role Description The Automation Engineer role is a full time, in office position based at the PharmNXT Ekuse facility in Pune.



The Automation Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automation systems for Single-Use manufacturing, downstream processing equipment, and containment solutions, ensuring reliable and efficient operation. Daily responsibilities include configuring and programming process control systems, integrating sensors and instrumentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize automated workflows. The role involves diagnosing and resolving equipment and system issues, performing preventive maintenance on automation and electrical systems, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and productivity. The Automation Engineer will also document system configurations, create standard operating procedures, and provide training and technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
