We are building a new product for hotels. It helps hotels improve the guest experience and grow revenue from guests already staying with them. This is the first commercial hire for it.
Your job is to sign hotels across South India.
You will build the function from scratch. The target list, the pitch, the process. What works becomes how we sell.
Based out of Bangalore or Coimbatore, where we have offices. This is an in office, field role. You will be out at hotel properties most days.
What you will do
Build and work a target list of mid-segment hotels across South India.
Get meetings with hotel owners and general managers, mostly cold and mostly in person.
Run discovery. Understand each hotel's guest experience, ancillary revenue and review performance, and where it is leaking.
Demo the product and handle the objections that come with it.
Close, and stay involved until the hotel is live and actually using it.
Feed back what you hear. The pitch, the pricing and the product will change based on what hotels tell you, and you will be the one who hears it first.

You are the first commercial hire. You build the sales function rather than inherit one, and you grow with it as we expand.
Your first hotels sign as pilot partners, before the product is public. You will shape what gets built.
You will be selling against OTA commissions rather than defending them.
Direct line to the founders. Decisions take hours, not quarters.
What we are looking for
3-7 years in sales, with a track record you can talk through deal by deal. You have personally carried a number and personally closed.
You come from the hotel industry. Any of these are strong:
Hotel sales and marketing. Sales Manager, Assistant Director of Sales, corporate or MICE sales at a hotel.
Signing independent hotels onto a platform, programme or partnership.
Selling software or services into hotels.
Hotel operations with real commercial exposure.
