Main Duties
- Develop and maintain preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance schedules for track assets in accordance with approved maintenance plans.
- Coordinate track possession planning and maintenance windows with operations to minimise disruption to railway services.
- Monitor maintenance progress, productivity, and KPIs, recommending corrective actions where required.
- Analyse inspection findings and maintenance trends to optimise maintenance planning and resource utilization.
- Prepare maintenance schedules for bridges, culverts, retaining walls, tunnels, drainage systems, and associated structural assets.
- Coordinate inspection programmes and monitor timely completion of structural maintenance activities.
- Review asset condition reports and support prioritization of maintenance activities based on risk and operational requirements.
- Maintain maintenance history and planning records for all structural assets.
- Plan the deployment and utilization of maintenance plant, rail maintenance machines, vehicles, and specialized equipment.
- Coordinate with the Workshop Manager to ensure maintenance equipment availability in accordance with project schedules.
- Monitor equipment utilization, maintenance downtime, and resource requirements to support uninterrupted field operations.
- Ensure materials, spare parts, and critical resources are available to support planned maintenance activities.
- Develop and update the Integrated Maintenance Programme, look-ahead schedules, and resource-loaded work plans.
- Monitor project progress against contractual KPIs and maintenance performance requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly planning reports, progress reports, and performance dashboards for Project Management and SAR.
- Coordinate with District Managers, QA/QC, HSE, and Workshop teams to ensure integrated project planning and effective resource utilization.
