Aptean is looking for a proactive and skilled Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our product development, from understanding requirements and architectural design to coding, debugging, and deployment. We're seeking someone with a strong background in AI Agent development, robust coding practices, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, secure, and performant features within an Agile workplace. You'll also play a role in guiding junior team members and driving critical customer issues to resolution.
Scope
- Knowledge: Expertise in AI Agent development and deployment, C#.NET, SQL Server, AWS (S3, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB), HTML, CSS, APIs, Sencha/Angular/React framework, Office Web Add-ins, and Web Application Architecture.
- Complexity: Expert level (8+ years of experience).
- Supervision: Yes (has to supervise team, specifically 2 full-line reports in R&D;).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate working knowledge of creating AI Agents from development through deployment .




- Take ownership of development activities and drive results towards end-to-end delivery.
- Exhibit excellent debugging and analytical skills , and guide the team in these areas.
- Possess knowledge of troubleshooting, performance, deployment, and debugging using analyzing tools.
- Closely work with Support Team and Tech Hub Team to resolve issues.
- Perform Performance and Security Testing .
- Own critical customer issues and drive them through to resolution.
- Write secure, reusable, effective code with high standards , and enforce the same through code reviews.
- Work with the Product Owner, Product Manager, Architect, and other leads to review project/feature specifications .
- Collaborate with the Architect and other leads to architecturally design and deliver high quality, secure, and performant features .
- Participate in all phases of the lifecycle from understanding requirements through development and finally to any post
