Education:
• Minimum 15 years of regular, full time education (10 + 2 + 3)
• Non-technical graduation and/or masters in finance & accounts stream - B.Com, M.Com or CA Complete preferred
• Bachelor's/Master's in Finance & Accounting or equivalent with ERP certification / proficient
Must Have Skills:
• Lean Six Sigma certified or formally trained (Black Belt preferred)
• Finance and Accounting domain experience
• Proven track record of leading and/or mentoring multiple Lean Six Sigma improvement projects
This role is responsible for executing more complex processes and exception transactions that involve greater subjective thinking & analytical ability (or processing a much higher volume of complex transactions).
Should have at least 3 years of relevant work experience as Subject Matter Expert in similar complex transaction and processes and at least 2 years in supervising activities with excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal skills along with proficiency in MS Excel & Powerpoint. Should have expert level knowledge of ERP (preferably SAP or JDE), experience in reporting & compliance, capable of handling stringent timelines, interacting and preparing analytics and presenting during governance calls with the stakeholders
Key Accountabilities:
• Should be able to perform more complex processes and exception transactions that involve greater subjective thinking & analytical ability (or processing a much higher volume of complex transactions) relating to journal entries (preparation & posting), Month end Closing activities, Reporting, Fixed Asset & Lease accounting, Reconciliation of Cash & other Balance sheet items including ability to research open items and drive to closure
