Are you passionate about infrastructure engineering, batch automation, and helping enterprise-level systems run at scale At Swiss Re, we are seeking a skilled Search Engineer to join our Enterprise Batch Management team—a group at the heart of critical system operations responsible for managing over 15 million task executions per month across platforms like Windows, Unix, Mainframe, and cloud APIs.
In this role, you'll drive the design, stability, automation, and scalability of our batch scheduling infrastructure using UC4 (Automic) and Azure-native solutions. This is your chance to work with a globally respected team on systems that are mission-critical for one of the world's largest reinsurance companies.

Your Responsibilities
- Partner with the Product Owner to ensure the reliability and performance of the enterprise scheduling platform
- Engineer, configure, and support job scheduling infrastructure across platforms including Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Windows, Unix, and IBM Mainframe
- Own installation, maintenance,



and performance improvements for UC4 / Automic Automation (Broadcom)
- Design scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools like Terraform, Bash, or PowerShell
- Ensure high availability and resilience in a hybrid cloud architecture
- Engage in incident response, root cause analysis, and long-term remediation efforts
- Contribute to the optimization of CI/CD processes in Azure DevOps
- Create documentation and reusable assets to support platform use and evolution across the engineering organization

About You – Key Qualifications
You don't need to tick every box to apply, but these are some of the qualities and experiences we're looking for:
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise job scheduling systems – ideally with UC4 / Automic Automation
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure (2+ years)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (preferably AKS) and cloud-native tools
- Experience wit
