Job Title: Team Leader – Credit Operations
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Team Leader – Credit Operations to manage and oversee loan origination, processing, and documentation activities. This role involves leading a team, ensuring compliance with credit guidelines, and driving operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards across all loan files.
Key Responsibilitie
s1. Credit Review & Documentatio
n Review loan applications and supporting documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with credit and program guidelines
. Collect, validate, and organize borrower documentation such as financial statements, tax returns, ownership records, and insurance papers
. Identify and reconcile inconsistencies across documents (e.g., ownership details, revenue figures, entity names, and addresses), escalating discrepancies when required
. Prepare loan files for underwriting submission and closing using standardized checklists and quality control measures

p Lead, mentor, and manage a team of loan processing and origination specialists
. Set explicit performance expectations and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality output
. Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work environment

g Oversee the end-to-end loan origination and processing lifecycle
. Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and credit guidelines
. Monitor loan pipelines, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to maintain turnaround times
.4. Stakeholder Collaboratio
n Coordinate with Sales, Underwriting, and Closing teams to address documentation gaps and ensure smooth file progression
. Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders on credit operations matters
