Education: Diploma/Degree in Engineering or a related field
Certification: Must have Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) issued by DGCA
Experience: 10+ Years
About the Role: The pilot will be responsible for the protected and efficient operation (flying, tuning, etc.) of fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles for various applications including testing and demonstration in both manual and autonomous modes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Operate fixed-wing UAVs in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements in manual, autonomous and hybrid modes.
Tune flight controllers for ground and air operations.
Coordinate with project/team leads for flight planning, task execution, progress reporting and issue escalation.
Execute flight missions ensuring safety, compliance, and mission objectives are met.
Monitor UAV systems and performance during flights to ensure operational integrity.
Troubleshoot and address any in-flight issues or anomalies promptly and effectively.
Develop detailed flight plans and conduct pre-flight checks.
Assess weather conditions and other environmental factors to determine flight feasibility.
Coordinate with team members to understand mission objectives and requirements.
Conduct post-flight inspections and maintenance checks.
Download and analyze flight data, providing detailed reports on mission outcomes.
Prepare and maintain SOPs, flight logs, maintenance records, and other necessary documentation.
