We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in the Legal and Compliance division. Legal Field Services is a group consisting of 2 attorneys and eight paralegals based in Current York. Field Services is a part of Branch Advisory Legal, which in turn is a group within the Legal and Compliance Division of Morgan Stanley. The offshore Legal and Compliance Department in Mumbai is a department of the Legal and Compliance Division and provides support services to the Legal and Compliance Division. This role will form part of offshore Legal and Compliance Department in Mumbai and Legal Field Services. The role will have a dual reporting line to a manager in the offshore Legal department in Mumbai and to the Manager of Legal Field Services.
In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm's management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk. This is an Associate position within the Attorney - Enterprise in Private Banking Group Legal (PBG Legal)
that serves as the legal advisor to Morgan Stanley's Private Banking Group, supporting the development, distribution, and administration of cash management and lending solutions offered through Morgan Stanley's banking platforms. The team provides strategic legal counsel on product governance, regulatory compliance, contractual arrangements, and risk mitigation to help deliver seamless banking and financing solutions to Wealth Management clients and their families
