Role Description The General Trade Area Sales Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Raipur, responsible for driving sales and market penetration in the general trade channel. Day-to-day activities include managing distributor and retailer relationships, planning and executing sales strategies, and ensuring product availability and visibility across the assigned territory. The role involves visiting markets regularly, supervising field sales teams, tracking sales performance,



and implementing promotional activities to achieve volume and revenue targets. The Area Sales Manager will also monitor competitor activities, analyze sales data, and provide timely reports and insights to senior management to support decision-making and business growth.
Qualifications
Experience in FMCG/general trade sales, including distributor and retailer management, territory planning, and achieving sales targets.
Strong skills in relationship building, negotiation, and stakeholder management with trade partners and internal teams.
Ability to analyze sales data, track market trends, and prepare accurate reports and forecasts.
Hands-on experience leading or supervising field sales teams, with a focus on performance monitoring and motivation.
Good communication skills in English and local languages, with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally.
