We are looking for an experienced Purchase Head – Packaging who can take complete ownership of our packaging procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Purchase & sourcing of Boxes, PET, PVC, Plastic, BOPP, Pouches, Trays, Films, Ribbons, Labels & other packaging materials
• Vendor development, management & regular follow-up
• Strong negotiation & bargaining to achieve cost savings
• Packaging quality control and vendor performance management
• New vendor / alternate vendor development
• Work closely with NPD & Design for new packaging development
• Plan packaging requirements for festivals, new stores, new products & future business growth
• Maintain Min/Max stock, lead times & purchase planning
• Monitor market rates and identify cost-saving opportunities
