Senior DDI Engineer
100% Remote role

Job Descriptions:

Senior DDI Engineer to own the day-to-day engineering, automation, and reliability of this platform.
You'll work across DNS/DHCP/IPAM administration, grid HA and disaster recovery, security module operations (Advanced Threat Protection, RPZ, TAXII, DNSSEC), and the custom extensible-attribute schema (90+ fields) that ties DDI data to cloud, virtualization, and asset-management systems.
This is a hands-on engineering role with direct influence over platform architecture, monitoring, and automation strategy.

7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, including 3+ years administering Infoblox NIOS in a production Grid workplace
Deep working knowledge of DNS (authoritative and recursive), DHCP, and IP address management fundamentals and protocols
Hands-on experience with Infoblox Grid architecture — grid members, HA pairing, DNS Views,



Shared Record Groups, and Extensible Attributes
Scripting/automation experience in Python or Bash, including working with REST APIs (Infoblox WAPI or equivalent)
Solid understanding of enterprise networking (routing, VLANs, firewalls) and how DDI services fit into a segmented, multi-environment network
Experience with monitoring and observability tooling (SNMP, Prometheus/Grafana, or a comparable enterprise monitoring stack)
Clear, professional written and verbal communication — able to document designs and explain technical tradeoffs to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
