Technical Skills :

Required Mandatory:

Manual Testing:
Understanding of QA methodologies and techniques – effectively using them in day to day activities
Defect Management, defect prioritization
Hands on experience of designing test cases, test Case Management
Good knowledge of test management and defect management tools
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
Test bed setup creation, involving server deployments AD/DNS, DHCP, LDAP Servers etc.

Domain:
Solid understanding of either the OSI layers, Routing/Switching, DNS, DHCP, and Firewalls OR VMware Workstation/ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V etc
Conceptual understanding of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), Ciphers and Digital certificates

Reporting and communication:
Understanding the test metrices, prepare and share with team
Ability to communicate effectively with team and management

Good to have:
Domain/Technology: Prior experience of working with virtualization platforms e.g. Citrix, VMware, Nutanix, Microsoft Hyper-V
Direct customer support exposure
Involvement in releasing products/builds
Product documentations




Automation Testing: Hands on experience in automation & framework designing and reporting
Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or any other
Knowledge of Web Services testing
Experience of client server model-based products and desktop clients
Exposure to mobile applications testing
Kubernetes and Container technologies
