Blackhole Studios is looking to collaborate with a sharp, original and passionate Creative Writer who understands comedy—and also understands the world behind the joke.

We are searching for someone who:
• Has strong knowledge of Indian current affairs, politics, society and popular culture
• Can transform serious or complex subjects into intelligent and relatable sketch comedy
• Understands comic timing, satire, character development and dialogue writing
• Can structure complete episodes with robust setups, conflicts, twists and memorable endings
• Can create recurring characters, running jokes and scalable comedy formats
• Is comfortable researching and fact-checking political or socially sensitive subjects
• Can balance humour with responsibility—without becoming biased, preachy or unnecessarily offensive




• Brings original perspectives instead of repeating trending memes and predictable punchlines
• Is passionate about developing fresh, long-term entertainment IPs
The writer may work on:
• Standalone sketch-comedy videos
• Political and current-affairs satire
• Recurring fictional characters
• Episodic digital-comedy formats
• Topical content inspired by real events
• Original fiction and non-fiction concepts
