Role Overview

We are looking for a Buying & Merchandising Executive who will act as the bridge between product planning, vendor coordination, timelines, and inventory execution. You will be responsible for managing purchase cycles, monitoring production timelines, ensuring quality, and making sure the right products reach the shelf at the right time. This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn the buying, planning, and merchandising side of a high-growth D2C apparel brand and work closely with sourcing, production, design, and accounts teams.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

Coordinate with vendors for production planning,



buying requirements, and regular updates.
Create, track, and close Purchase Orders (POs) in coordination with the accounts team.
Ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) PO fulfilment, maintaining accuracy in quantity and timelines.
Monitor product costing and efficiency, ensuring cutting accuracy and optimizing material usage.
Track PO 1st Delivery TAT and ensure timely first dispatches to avoid delays.
Maintain and monitor D2S (Design to Shelf) timelines from product development to GRN.
Track and reduce OOS% and Sales Leakage Value by ensuring timely replenishment and inventory availability.
Conduct quality inspections — in-line, mid-line, and PDI — at vendor locations to ensure buying standards are met.
Document vendor performance, inspection results, and production progress for internal visibility.
Support internal audits using Auditflo checklists to ensure process compliance and improvement.
