About The Role

As an Assistant Manager – Project Logistics, you will be responsible for managing logistics-related activities for new projects and engineering changes, ensuring seamless coordination across cross-functional teams and successful project execution from initiation through SOP and handover to serial production.

Key Responsibilities

Lead logistics activities for recent projects and change management initiatives.
Coordinate with customers, production, PPC, purchasing, and warehouse teams.
Develop and implement logistics concepts, packaging solutions, and transportation strategies.
Manage supplier logistics readiness, packaging validation, and forecasting activities.
Coordinate ERP setup, M-BOM deployment, and logistics parameter configuration.




Ensure successful production launches and smooth project handover to serial logistics.
Drive zero obsolescence during project launches and engineering changes.
Validate supply chain readiness, including freight and customs requirements.
Monitor project milestones and ensure on-time execution of logistics deliverables.
Lead project logistics activities until successful handover to the serial production team.

Required Skills & Experience

10-12 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Project Management.
Strong knowledge of:
Supply Chain Management
Capacity Planning
Project Management
Material Resource Planning (MRP)
Supplier Scheduling
Customer Relationship Management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
Education

BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
