NRole Description The Chess Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based at Indus International School Bangalore in Bengaluru. The instructor will design and deliver structured chess lessons for students across different age groups and skill levels, including foundational concepts, tactics, strategy, and tournament preparation. Daily responsibilities include planning lesson content, conducting individual and group coaching sessions, organizing practice games and internal competitions,



and assessing student progress through regular feedback and performance tracking. The role also involves integrating chess with broader educational goals such as logical thinking, focus, and sportsmanship, collaborating with teachers and activity coordinators, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning setting.
NKey Responsibilities:
NDeliver engaging chess coaching sessions for students across different age groups and skill levels.
NPrepare students for inter-school, state, national, and international tournaments.
NDevelop structured lessonplans focusing on openings, middlegame strategy, endgames, tactics, and game analysis.
NMonitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
NFoster critical thinking,sportsmanship, discipline, and a love for the game.
NPreferred Qualifications:
