Job DescriptionRole Purpose
NThe Senior Sous Chef is responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in leading and managing the culinary operations of the Jio World Convention Centre. The role ensures the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences across conventions, exhibitions, banquets, corporate events, VIP functions, and large-scale hospitality operations while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency, hygiene, innovation, and operational efficiency.

- Oversee the day-to-day kitchen operations across banquet, convention, exhibition, and event catering. N
- Ensure timely production and delivery of high-quality food for multiple simultaneous events. N
- Maintain consistency infood preparation, presentation, taste, and portion control. N
- Supervise all kitchen sections to ensure smooth operational flow and adherence to service timelines. N
- Support the Executive Chef in planning and executing high-profile events and VIP functions. N

- Assist in designing creative menus tailored to diverse client requirements and event formats. N
- Introduce new recipes, presentation styles, and culinary trends to enhance guest experiences. N
- Ensure menu standardization and recipe compliance across all kitchen operations. N
- Collaborate with the culinary leadership team on seasonal promotions and special event menus. N

nTeam Leadership

- Lead, mentor, anddevelop Sous Chefs, Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs, and kitchen associates. N
- Conduct regular on-the-job training to enhance culinary techniques, productivity, and service standards. N
- Ensure proper staffing,duty allocation, and workforce planning. N
- Foster a collaborative,disciplined, and high-performance kitchen environment. N
