NMAYU is looking for a talented freelance Handbags & Lifestyle Accessories Designer to collaborate on the design and development of our upcoming collection, launching in early September.
NOur new collection will explore the intersection of luxury craftsmanship and material innovation, featuring fish leather alongside other next-generation sustainable leather alternatives. We are looking for a designer who can create timeless, commercially viable products while embracing the unique characteristics of cutting-edge materials.
NWhat you will do:

- Design a capsule collection of handbags and lifestyle accessories N
- Develop mood boards, concept directions, colour palettes, and material combinations N
- Create detailed design sketches and technical drawings N
- Prepare tech packs withconstruction details, dimensions, hardware specifications, and finishing notes N
- Collaborate closely with our founder and manufacturing partners during product development N
- Refine designs based onprototyping and material constraints N
- Help build a cohesive collection aligned with MAYU's premium brand vision N
nWe are looking forsomeone who has:

- Experience designing handbags, leather goods, or lifestyle accessories N
- A strong portfolio demonstrating contemporary, premium product design N
- Knowledge of bag construction, materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes N
- Experience preparing production-ready tech packs N
- Strong understanding ofluxury aesthetics, functionality, and user experience N
- Excellent communicationskills and the ability to work independently within tight timelines N
