We are looking for an experienced Event Hub SME / Technical Lead with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Real-Time Intelligence (RTI), Eventhouse, OneLake, and real-time data streaming.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading technical design discussions, driving architecture and delivery across multiple Microsoft organizations, and ensuring solutions meet key non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as latency, throughput, scalability, and reliability.
? Key Responsibilities
Lead technical design and architecture discussions with LSEG and coordinate effectively across Microsoft organizations, including ISD, PG, and CSU.
Own the technical delivery across Microsoft Fabric Real-Time Intelligence (RTI), OneLake, and Eventhouse.
Provide technical leadership throughout the design, implementation, testing, and delivery lifecycle.
Own and drive Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), particularly around latency, throughput, scalability, performance, and reliability.
Ensure delivery teams define, implement, test, and provide transparent evidence against agreed NFRs.
Provide subject matter expertise in real-time data processing, event-driven architectures, and data streaming.
Design and implement solutions for data ingestion, processing, transformation, and querying within Microsoft Fabric.
Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to troubleshoot technical challenges and ensure successful delivery.
Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and high-performing real-time data solutions.
Drive technical decisions and ensure alignment across multiple stakeholder groups.
? Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
Deep practical experience with Microsoft Fabric Real-Time Intelligence (RTI).
Strong experience with Eventhouse and real-time data streaming architectures.
Experience working with OneLake and Microsoft Fabric data services.
Strong understanding of event-driven and streaming data architectures.
