Role Description The Security Engineer will work in a full time, remote capacity, designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across SECNODE’s systems and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing application and network security, performing threat modeling and vulnerability analysis,



and collaborating with engineering teams to embed secure-by-design practices. The role involves monitoring security events, investigating incidents, and tuning detection mechanisms and AI-driven tools to improve threat coverage. The Security Engineer will contribute to security architecture reviews, document standards and procedures, and support compliance with relevant security frameworks and best practices. This position requires close partnership with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance the organization’s overall security posture.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Security Engineering and Cybersecurity, including secure architecture design and threat modeling.
Hands-on experience with Application Security, including code review, secure development practices, and vulnerability remediation.
Practical skills in Network Security and Information Security, including access control, encryption, logging, and incident response.
