Role Description This Fashion Designer Intern role is an on-site internship based at our studio in Kochi. The intern will support the design team in conceptualizing and sketching new collections, especially wedding and occasion wear. Daily tasks include assisting with fabric and trim selection, preparing mood boards, updating design catalogs, and supporting fittings and alterations with the tailoring team. The intern will help coordinate custom orders, maintain sample racks,



and ensure accurate documentation of measurements and design details. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full design-to-production process in a boutique fashion and custom stitching environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundational skills in fashion design, including sketching, color coordination, and garment construction.
Basic knowledge of fabrics, trims, and materials commonly used in women’s and bridal fashion.
Ability to work collaboratively with designers, tailors, and customer-facing staff in a studio setting.
Attention to detail in measurements, fitting notes, and sample tracking, with positive organizational skills.
Interest in wedding and occasion wear, with a willingness to learn current trends and local market preferences.
Pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred.
