Procurement Specialist Years of Experience: 1-3 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of the procurement process, including vendor onboarding and purchase order management. This role requires excellent communication abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word to effectively manage procurement documentation and vendor relationships. Responsibilities: Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing. Manage the procurement process, including purchase orders (PO), goods receipt notes (GRN), and vendor onboarding. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and vendor interactions. Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Assist in the evaluation and selection of vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities. Provide support in managing software licenses, including SAS licenses such as SAP, Oracle,
D365, and Tally. Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities and vendor performance. Mandatory Skills: Proven negotiation skills with a track record of successful vendor management. Solid Communication Skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate procurement needs clearly. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Word for creating and formatting procurement documents. Solid understanding of the Procurement process, including PO, GRN, and Onboarding. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with SAS licenses, specifically SAP, D365, and Tally.
