Role Description The Jewellery CAD Designer is a full-time, in office role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD models for fine jewellery collections. In this role, the designer collaborates closely with design, merchandising,



and production teams to translate creative concepts into technically accurate, manufacturable designs that align with BlueStone’s aesthetic and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include developing new designs and variants, refining existing models, preparing technical drawings and specifications, and ensuring feasibility for various materials such as gold, platinum, diamonds, and gemstones. The designer reviews prototypes, incorporates feedback from cross-functional partners, and adheres to brand guidelines, timelines, and cost parameters while maintaining high precision and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in jewellery-specific CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, or similar) and 3D modeling tools, with the ability to create accurate, detailed renderings and technical drawings.
Sound understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes, setting techniques, metal properties, and gemstone dimensions, ensuring designs are practical
