About The Role
Description of the entity/Team
The mission of the Orange Business ‘B2B Global Sourcing’ direction, which reports to Global Delivery and Operations and is an integral part of the Group's purchasing and supply chain organization, is to support the Orange Business teams in providing competitive solutions to our B2B customers (France and International), while managing risks and integrating social responsibility into contracts. Approximately 2 billion euros of expenditure are under his responsibility,
on a scope of 6,500 suppliers to date.
The B2B Global Sourcing Direction will comprise 4 new entities:
1 business partner entity for customer projects sourcing: “Project Sourcing”
2 strategic sourcing entities: « Telecom Sourcing » and « B2B Category Sourcing »
1 entity in support of entities above: “Sourcing Operations”
Sourcing Operations will be responsible for continuously improving the operation and maturity of B2B Global Sourcing in order to enhance performance in financial, social and environmental terms, as well as employee expertise.
Within Sourcing Operations, the team “Sourcing Expertise“ will be responsible for setting up and managing RFx execution, contracting and all administrative activities requiring purchasing expertise.
