Position: Direct and Indirect Tax Manager

Experience
8–10 years of relevant experience in Direct and Indirect Tax.

Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) – Preferred
B.Com with robust and practical knowledge will also be considered

1. GST Compliances (K12, SSPL & Trust)
Ensure all GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) and related tax payments are completed on time, with accurate details and proper reconciliations.
Review GST mismatches and follow up continuously with the relevant department/vendor to resolve discrepancies and bring them down to zero.
Carry out regular reconciliation of the Electronic Credit Ledger with the books of accounts.
Ensure all departmental audits and notices are responded to on time, with complete and accurate supporting details.
Ensure overall GST compliance, including registrations, APOB (Additional Place of Business) compliance, e-way bills, e-invoicing, RCM (Reverse Charge Mechanism), job work, and related requirements.
Coordinate with operational teams and resolve their GST-related queries.

2. Income Tax Compliances (K12,



SSPL & Trust)
Ensure all filings (Tax Audit, ITR, TDS returns, etc.) and related payments are completed on time, with accurate details and reconciliations.
Verify inoperative PAN status before making TDS payments, and perform other hygiene checks such as applicable rates and recomputation.
Ensure quarterly TDS returns filed reconcile with the challan amounts for the respective quarter.
Ensure ITR and Tax Audit filings are completed with accurate details after proper review, and that figures tally with the financial statements.
Ensure all departmental audits and notices are responded to on time, with complete and accurate supporting details.
Reconcile Form 26AS with the books of accounts and ensure reconciling items are resolved.
Ensure timely renewal of all trust registrations.

3. Other Statutory Dues
Ensure all statutory filings and payments are completed on time, with accurate supporting details.
