Role Description The Area Sales Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The person in this role will manage sales operations within an assigned territory, including developing and executing sales plans, meeting revenue targets, and expanding market share. Daily tasks include visiting retailers and distributors, building and maintaining relationships, negotiating terms, and ensuring effective product placement and visibility. The role involves monitoring sales performance,



analyzing market trends and competitor activity, preparing regular sales reports, and coordinating closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams. The Area Sales Manager will also conduct product trainings, support promotional activities, and provide feedback to leadership to improve strategies and customer experience.
Qualifications

Proven experience in area or territory sales management, preferably in consumer electronics, audio products, or FMCG.
Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable plans.
Effective communication and presentation skills; comfort interacting with retail partners and internal teams.
Self-motivated with strong planning, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with the Mumbai market and local distribution networks is an advantage.
