Roles & Responsibilities
Advanced Incident Response & Threat Management
Complex incident triage: Lead deep-dive investigations into escalated alerts, advanced persistent threats (APTs), and zero-day exploits.
Threat hunting: Proactively identify Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) across enterprise environments.
Forensic analysis: Conduct root cause analysis using logs, packet captures, and endpoint telemetry.
Security architecture oversight: Validate and optimize configurations of firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, SIEM, and endpoint detection tools.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
L2/L1 guidance: Provide technical mentorship, on-the-job training, and performance feedback to SOC L1/L2 analysts.
Shift leadership: Manage SOC operations during assigned shifts, ensuring SLA adherence and incident closure.
Knowledge transfer: Develop playbooks, SOPs, and training modules to strengthe
