We're Hiring: HR Intern — People, Culture & Hiring ?

Zapplr Media is a leading influencer marketing agency focused on South India. We run creator-led campaigns across Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada markets for brands, film studios, music labels, and OTT platforms. As we scale, we're building our People function from the ground up — and this internship puts you right at the start of that journey.

This is NOT a filing-and-paperwork internship. You'll work directly with the Founder to build our people and culture foundations while owning day-to-day hiring.

What you'll do:

Hiring & Talent Acquisition
- Draft and post JDs across LinkedIn, job portals, and campus networks
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates across teams
- Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication
- Maintain the hiring tracker and ensure a excellent candidate experience
- Support offers, documentation, and pre-joining coordination

People & Culture




- Own onboarding for recent joiners — induction plans, first-week check-ins
- Help draft HR policies, documentation, and process templates
- Plan team engagement — celebrations, recognition, internal comms
- Gather team feedback and flag issues early
- Support attendance, leave tracking, and HR operations

Who should apply:
- Recent graduate or final-year student in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields (MBA/MSW HR is a plus)
- Strong English and Malayalam communication
- Organized, reliable, and excellent with people
- Discreet with sensitive information
- Bonus: interest in media, influencer marketing, or the creator economy
