Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated R&D; Product Development Engineer II to support the design, development, validation, and commercialization of innovative high-voltage products for railway applications. The role involves working on 25kV railway electrification solutions, collaborating with global cross-functional teams, and utilizing advanced engineering tools to develop reliable, compliant, and cost-effective products. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical engineering fundamentals, product development experience, analytical problem-solving skills, and knowledge of industry standards related to railway and power distribution systems.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of high voltage engineering products preferably for railway system of 25kV.
Good understanding of the range of high voltage solutions for railway application.
Utilize engineering tools for intricate design and optimization of product designs,



including simulation software; like CREO, PRO-E, AUTOCAD for CAD work and ANSYS, COMSOL for FEA work.
Participate in cross-functional global teams, collaborating seamlessly with professionals in sales, manufacturing, and quality assurance to meet customer needs and uphold industry standards.
Work closely with the testing team, playing a pivotal role in designing and executing product validation tests according to rigorous industry standards.
Possess valuable analytical skills for problem-solving in product development.
Gain and develop a working level understanding of cable accessory materials, manufacturing processes, and applications.
Working level familiarity with one more of the industry standards such as IEC 60077-4, IEC 60099-4, IEC 60502-4, IEC 62217, EN 45545, CENELEC HD629.1S2, IEC 60068 series, and their application in product development.
Actively participate in brainstorming session
