Role Description:
Accountant & Senior Accountant – R2R role is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role involves managing end-to-end Record to Report processes, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing activities,



and preparation of financial statements. The Senior Accountant will review and analyze accounts, ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and client teams to resolve discrepancies and support audits. Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining documentation, improving process efficiencies, and mentoring junior team members to uphold quality and accuracy in all deliverables.

Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of R2R processes, including general ledger accounting, journal posting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close.
Proficiency in financial reporting, analysis of balance sheets and income statements, and adherence to relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).
Experience working with ERP/accounting systems and advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
