Position: Senior Executive – Direct Taxation

Position Summary
Responsible for managing day-to-day direct tax compliances, tax computations, TDS/TCS, assessments and tax-related reporting while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and filing of corporate Income Tax returns and related schedules.
Computation of Advance Tax, Self-Assessment Tax and tax provisions.
Handling TDS/TCS compliance, quarterly returns and reconciliations.
Review of withholding tax applicability on business transactions.
Supporting tax assessments, scrutiny proceedings and departmental notices.
Preparation of replies, submissions and supporting documents for tax authorities.
Preparation of Current Tax and Deferred Tax computations.
Reconciliation of tax returns with books of accounts and financial statements.
Supporting Statutory Audit,



Tax Audit and Internal Audit requirements.
Maintaining tax compliance trackers, documentation and records.
Researching changes in Income Tax laws, regulations and judicial precedents.
Coordination with tax consultants, auditors and internal stakeholders.
Supporting tax process improvement, automation and SOP implementation.
Required Skills
Robust knowledge of Income Tax Act, 1961 and TDS/TCS provisions.
Hands-on experience in Corporate Direct Tax Compliance.
Good understanding of Advance Tax and Tax Audit requirements.
Exposure to tax assessments and departmental notices preferred.
Strong MS Excel and analytical skills.
Good drafting and communication skills.
Knowledge of SAP/ERP and tax compliance software will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate
CA / CA Inter with 4–5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Direct Taxation, Income Tax Compliance, TDS/TCS, Tax Computation and Assessment Support.
