Job Summary: Senior Legal Invoice Reviewer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Invoice Reviewer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in reviewing and managing legal invoices, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines, and leading our legal spend management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive first-level and peer reviews of law firm invoices to ensure adherence to the client's Outside Counsel billing guidelines. Utilize advanced judgment to identify and rectify discrepancies.
Coordinate and distribute legal bill assignments to team members. Verify the accuracy of the UTBMS task codes (Fee, Activity and Expense codes) applied to invoice line items.
Monitor daily and long-term bill review delivery production, often based on customer pre-determined schedules.
Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions; ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently.
Developing,



documenting and maintaining training documentation is necessary to drive shorter ramp-up time using effective methodologies.
Developing & conducting quality assurance on regular basis to train, coach analysts on approved legal billing review techniques, customer specific service levels & ELM billing platforms. In addition, during heavy periods of incoming invoice volume, conduct the initial audit and/or quality assurance invoice review audit
Participates and supports all project management initiatives. May be responsible for managing a specific project to include project planning, development and execution.
Serves as subject-matter expert for the team. Responds to inquiries posed by attorneys, practice groups or other team members.
Creates and distributes ad hoc operational and billing reports to management as requested

Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or related, equivalent experience. Juris Doctor or MBA preferred.
