Software Engineer III supports the design and development of agentic artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions that address complex business problems. This role works across product development, experimentation, and delivery to help scale creative capabilities within Deloitte Innovation and Technology. The position is suited for a professional with experience building generative artificial intelligence applications, leading technical teams, and translating business needs into scalable solutions.

Work you'll do





As a Software Engineer III on the Innovation and Technology team, you will be responsible for:

Analyze business problems and identify agentic artificial intelligence, machine learning, and statistical approaches to address client and business needs.
Build proofs of concept and evaluate solution feasibility through data exploration, experimentation, and model development.
Lead the development of generative artificial intelligence and agent-based solutions using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and vector database patterns.
Supervise, mentor, and develop consultants across delivery activities, technical execution, and career growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographic locations to review solutions, guide product development, and support scaled delivery.
