Job Summary:
R Systems is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Firmware Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems, focusing on firmware development for secure tracker and logger devices, as well as telemetry platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement firmware for secure tracker and logger devices.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with hardware components.
- Experience with GPS-enabled tracking devices
- Work on telemetry platforms to ensure efficient data collection and transmission.
- Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues to ensure reliable operation.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices in embedded programming.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in firmware development and embedded systems.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience in embedded firmware development.
- Proficient in Embedded C/C++ programming languages.
- Experience in working with secure tracker and logger devices.
- Familiarity with Cargo - Legacy Trackers and associated technologies.
- Knowledge of telemetry platforms and data acquisition systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
