Role Summary
The candidate will be responsible for supporting CMDB operations, building and maintaining ServiceNow Service Maps, validating CI relationships, ensuring CMDB data quality, and aligning service management practices with CSDM standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Build, maintain, and support ServiceNow Service Maps
• Manage CMDB data quality, CI relationships, reconciliation exceptions, and remediation activities
• Validate service dependencies with service owners, application owners, and technical SMEs
• Support ServiceNow Discovery operations and troubleshoot discovery/mapping issues
• Maintain accurate CI relationships and service dependencies
• Perform service map reviews, certification, and periodic validation
• Generate operational reports and document exceptions
• Support governance, compliance, and audit requirements
Required Skills
3+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery & Service Mapping
Robust knowledge of CSDM
CI lifecycle management and dependency mapping
Experience with infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, and ITSM processes
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Success Measures
• CMDB data quality and compliance scores
• Service mapping throughput and quality
• Accuracy of CI relationships and service dependencies
• Timely resolution of CMDB and service mapping issues
