Role Description The Assistant Professor of Finance is a full-time, in office faculty role based at the Bengaluru campus. The role involves delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in finance, preparing and updating course materials, and using diverse teaching methods to engage students. Daily responsibilities include mentoring learners, guiding projects and dissertations, conducting high-quality research, and contributing to publications in reputable journals.



The Assistant Professor will also participate in academic committees, support curriculum development, collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives, and engage in industry interaction and outreach activities that strengthen the department’s academic profile.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance and Corporate Finance, with the ability to teach core and elective courses.
Competence in Economics and Accounting to support interdisciplinary teaching and curriculum integration.
Demonstrated Research skills, including the ability to design studies, analyze data, and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
Relevant postgraduate degree (minimum Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; PhD or registered PhD candidate preferred).
Prior teaching or academic experience at the university level is an advantage.
