Role Objective
The Area Sales Manager will get New Accounts, Generate Sales, Distribution, and brand presence in the assigned territory, for the products assigned to him. The role requires strong ability in Key Accounts management, Network expansion, and Team leadership in any of the following channels like General Trade, Modern Trade, HoReCa, Institutions & OOH Channels.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth
Deliver sales targets (volume, value, and market share)




Expand Key Accounts / Distribution Network ensuring product penetration across urban and semi-urban markets.
Stay updated on Competition Activities – like pricing, market trends, current products etc.
Strengthen presence across GT, MT, and HoReCa channels with focus on institutional buyers, hotels, restaurants, caterers, and corporates.
High-Level Client Management:
Own and manage relationships with key decision-makers of the Trade.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
Guide and support down line Sales Team in account execution, negotiation, and client servicing. Act as an escalation point for critical client matters.
New Business Acquisition:
Identify, pitch and secure long-term business with high-potential Key Accounts / HoReCa accounts in the assigned Territory. Drive partnerships that enhance market share and profitability.
Sales Performance & Insights:
Monitor account-wise sales performance, analyse market trends and customer data, and implement corrective actions to address
