Job Description
• Four (4) year degree in Structural Engineering or global equivalent in engineering field of study and with eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required.
• Ability to communicate effectively that includes but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
Basic Job Requirements
• Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards for US and European regions, commercial availability, and cost of materials
• Advanced knowledge of performing hand and computer calculations for foundations, concrete, and steel structures (structural)
• Analyzing complex structures
• Wind and seismic loading in structural calculations (structural)
• Computer modeling and analysis (structural)
• Procurement and construction aspects of engineering
• Vendor drawing review, intergroup review – squad checking
• Checking design calculations and Drawings
• Connections designs and fabricator drawing checking
• Practical field experience and Intermediate computer and software skills
• Knowledge of working in Prefeed, FEED & Detail Engineering projects
• Managing and leading a small team/ Area lead on a bigger project
• Knowledge of Dynamic analysis and design (stru
