Ensure continuous availability of optimal stock levels across all supply chain nodes up to WSPs/warehouses through effective inventory planning, SKU management, and deployment strategies.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Category Management
Ensure the appropriate network configuration in consultation with the Strategic Business Unit (SBU).
Determine and drive execution of finished goods deployment strategies across the network.
Monitor stock availability and production adherence on a daily basis to ensure uninterrupted servicing.
Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure manufacturing plans are aligned with market demand and warehouse/WSP requirements.
Proactively identify potential supply risks and recommend corrective actions to maintain service levels.
Inventory Management
Monitor stock flow and inventory health across all locations to ensure equitable stock distribution.
Facilitate inter-warehouse/WSP stock transfers where required to optimize inventory availability.
Track inventory levels of allocated SKU categories and raise alerts for deviations, shortages, or excess stock situations.
Coordinate with Logistics teams to ensure timely stock placement, replenishment, and movement across the network.
Systems & Processes
Ensure agreed supply chain networks, routes, and lanes are accurately configured and maintained in SAP.
Coordinate with production teams during product changeovers and work with demand planners to realign demand as required.
Re-run and validate inventory models whenever significant network, demand, or supply changes occur to assess revised inventory norms.
Maintain process compliance and data accuracy to support planning effectiveness.
S&OP; Process
Prepare S&OP; and Pre-S&OP; planning templates and supporting data.
Coordinate demand-related activities as part of the Sales & Operations Planning process.
Support cross-functional alignment of demand, supply, inventory, and service objectives through the S&OP; cycle.
