Summary of the Position: The position requires someone who can read and interpret contract drawings, check drawings being released for fabrication with knowledge of AISC, OSHA, AWS, SJI, RCSC Standards. Take full responsibility for complete checking of steel detailing projects as per the contract drawings, using TEKLA Structures in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and company engineering procedures, to enable the successful execution of the project.
Key Deliverables:
· Check Tekla Models, GA and fabrication drawings, ensuring there are zero errors.
· Ensure the drawings submitted to clients are accurate and per client specifications, standards, and requirements.

· Preparation of RFI, Drawings logs and keeping up to date (Sr.



Checkers only)
· Keeping track of Hold items and updating timely manner.
· Attention to Detail
· Check the structure is erectable and look for other field-related issues.
· Should have good hands-on working experience in Tekla/SDS2 software.

· Coordinate with all team members to execute the project with zero errors and submit it on time.

· Should have good knowledge & working experience in AISC Standards and Industry Codes
· Should have valuable knowledge on commercial and Industrial Jobs.
