The Senior Director of Content Production will lead JoVE's content production department of 100+ content creators, animators, and media producers, delivering high-quality science research and education videos for K-12, higher education, and corporate learning worldwide.

This role will set and execute the content roadmap, scale operations, and drive efficiency across the end-to-end content lifecycle with AI-driven workflows, automation, and continuous adoption of emerging technologies.

Requirements

● Lead the content production team of 100+ delivering 5,000 videos annually for Higher Education, K-12, and Corporate Learning.
● Own the end-to-end content production roadmap and ensure teams deliver against agreed timelines, quality standards, and targets.
● Scale AI-driven workflows and automation to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
● Set clear goals and KPIs for teams and individuals, and regularly review performance and productivity.
● Continuously optimize the production process,



eliminating bottlenecks and improving workflows to meet the growing volume and complexity of content.
● Own vendor strategy, balancing internal capabilities and external partners to scale efficiently.
● Work closely with Product, and other leadership teams to align production plans with business priorities.
